Diamond Mowers has increased the durability of its rotary mowers with improvements made to the dish and the knife bolts mounts with its new Tri-Hex Power Dish.
The new hex shaped knife bolt and hardened dish insert prevents the elongation of the knife bolt mounting holes in the dish. It also prevents excessive wear on the bolt itself, which eliminates knife tipping and canting. The Tri-Hex Power Dish will be standard on all Diamond Mowers dishes starting March 1st 2007.
What this means to you: Less maintenance (no more retorquing knife bolts), lower operating costs and increased durability.
Parts for the Tri-Hex Power Dish can be ordered from Diamond Mowers right now!
The old keyed knife bolt provided only .096 square inches of bearing surface area.
The new hex shaped knife bolt provides 3.372 square inches of bearing surface area, that's an increase of 3,400%!
The older style keyed dish has only a small surface area to hold the knife bolt in place to prevent it from spinning or loosening.
